First the Ootd:
Avenue Dress....that is it. Wore my ugly black sandals, and went out the door. I haven't posted an OOTD for awhile, because I still can't figure out where to take the pictures, and how to pose. I also should take at the beginning of the day when my makeup hadn't melted off, and my hair looks better. But....I have been wanting to do this since the beginning of my blog, and I determined to get better at it! Suggestions??? Please ignore, the pale face, and bizarre expressions in these pictures....
Last picture, this is my hair now days. Longer, not as long as I would like, but I am doing well so far at not just whacking it off into another pixie cut. After I saw how my hair looked in the first pictures, I went and brushed it, and had my darling Jaded J, take a decent picture of it. What you can't tell is it is deep auburn with brighter red highlights. My natural hair color is really deep brown, but not quite black. Anyway...thought you guys might be interested in my progress.

Wow, that last photo is dynamite!
What a photographer!
I have a problem finding places to take photos also. My winter pics are taken in my kitchen on the least cluttered wall. This summer I've tried to mix it up a bit. To be honest, I've taken alot of pics in my neighbor's yard, lol! My yard just ain't up to snuff. Then We've gone to the park, and found little quiet corners in the mall. You just have to be creative. At the least I recommend trying outside, the lighting is fantastic, and it usually looks nice.
Georgia, I love, love this OOTD post! Finally we get to see your lovely self! I love the last photo! JadedJ rocks as a photographer! :) I can't give you any tips on how to pose because I hate taking pictures! I'm one of those people who looks better in person. Hee hee! I'm sure it will start to come naturally to you as you continue to post OOTDs, and I sure hope there'll be more of those. I know you visit other fashion blogs and the fine ladies there will give you an idea of how to stand and pose. Oh, and I agree with Bigonmodesty, outdoor photos are very nice!
Hi! Just stumbled across your blog! I'd agree with the other suggestions: Change the scenery, move outside, reduce clutter, do it when the sun is out if poss. My photos always turn out badly if I don't! Your poses look fine! Just make sure it's flattering (my photos are best when angled slightly downwards from above) and that you are enjoying yourself! Photos that show detail on the clothing is fun too!
